Mentoring support of word, image and performance arts

Hi Everyone,

The date of the next Tree House has been announced for Wednesday, 28th September. Starting at 8pm.

We are meeting at the Hooper House Cafe – 113, Stokes Croft, Bristol. BS6 5RR.

The theme for the evening is storytelling and to help us we have Jari Moate, author of ‘Paradise Now’, Ruth Whiter the author of the ‘Hillytown’ series of children’s stories and Roger Whiter, an animator and creator of ‘Pistol to Me’.

I’ll be showing a couple of clips from Wim Wenders’ film ‘Wings of Desire’.

We’ll be asking each to look at three questions, as well as read or present┬átheir work.

1. How does faith inform your storytelling?

2. Who influences your writing?

3. How are you developing your style?

Soon to appear here is a little piece about storytelling and also the monthly Group letter. Stay tuned!

Peace,

Geoffx
